What to Expect on Your Actual Microblading Appointment

Your microblading appointment is an exciting step toward achieving beautiful, natural-looking brows. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect during your session:

1. Bring Photos for Inspiration

   It’s always a great idea to bring photos of your ideal brows or how you do your daily makeup to help me understand the look you want to achieve. I get it—almost 99% of my clients say they want their brows to look natural. But remember, "natural" can mean different things to different people! Sharing pictures helps me get an idea of the shape, thickness, and darkness you’re aiming for. From there, I’ll design your brow shape based on your bone structure and face shape, ensuring it suits you perfectly.

   
   

2. Shape Approval

   Once I draw the shape, I’ll ask for your approval. If you prefer, I can follow the shape of your daily makeup brows, and we can go from there. It’s all about creating a look that feels right for you!

   
   

3. Choosing the Pigment

   Next, we’ll choose the pigment color. The goal is to match your natural brow hair to create a realistic, natural effect. Once you're happy with both the shape and color, we’re ready to move on to the treatment.

   
   

4. Numbing for Comfort

   Before I start the treatment, I will apply a numbing cream for about 20 minutes to ensure your comfort. Your comfort is my #1 priority, and I’ll make sure you're at ease throughout the process.

   
   

5. The Treatment

   Once the numbing cream has taken effect, I’ll begin the microblading treatment. This process usually takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your brow shape and desired look.

   
   

6. Aftercare Instructions

   Once the treatment is finished, I’ll guide you on how to take care of your brows. This is a crucial step to ensure the best healing and final result. I’ll provide you with aftercare kit & instructions and answer any questions you may have.

   
   

7. Next Steps

   Finally, we’ll schedule your touch-up appointment. After about 6-8 weeks, we’ll meet again to perfect your brows and make sure they’re looking their best.
