Reality: If you’re not happy with your previous brows, you might wonder if you can simply apply more color to cover them up or if you should consider tattoo removal. The answer depends on the current condition of your brows and the pigment already in place.

  • When the Previous Color Is Faded:

If your previous brows have faded quite a bit and the pigment is light enough, it’s generally fine to apply more color on top. This is where techniques like microblading or combo brows can help you achieve a fresh, defined look without the need for removal.

  • When the Previous Color Is Still Dark:

If the previous pigment is still quite dark, applying more color on top can sometimes result in an unpleasant mixture or uneven tones. In this case, it's better to consider tattoo removal to lighten the existing color before starting fresh. This ensures that you can achieve the best results with the microblading or combo brows techniques.

  • Consultation Is Key:

During your consultation, I will assess the current state of your brows to determine if they are suitable for microblading or combo brows right away or if removal is necessary. This is an important step to ensure the final result is as natural and beautiful as possible.

  • Tattoo Removal Timeline:

If removal is needed, you will need to wait about 4-6 weeks after the tattoo removal before proceeding with microblading or combo brows. This gives your skin time to heal and ensures that the previous pigment has lightened enough for new brows to be applied safely.

Ultimately, the right option depends on the condition of your existing brows. I’ll guide you through the process and help you decide the best course of action during your consultation.
